We had a lovely day, plenty of cards and gifts:- Roses from Paul & Cheri, Gift card from Janet,Bob & children, Gift card from Chris & Rick, a bottle of red wine from Midge(Rick's mom) and a gift from our new neighbour and friend Marie.
Mel and I went out to dinner to the new Outback near us and had a lovely meal, with lots of congratulations from Manager and staff, came home fully sated from food and wine, sat on the screened porch for a quiet thirty minutes, and then back inside to watch some T.V., well !! fifteen minutes later Mel was fast asleep, he has had a very busy week and some long days, so yes you guessed it --I woke him up to go to bed.
Nina came by today, we had a nice visit with her, and she stayed and had dinner with us.
Princess was not very friendly with her, Nina picked her up and she bit her and drew blood,(little bugger), Princess ran to the bedroom and stayed there, and was still there after Nina left.
She is not a friendly cat, and we do not know why, maybe its because she is a siamese!!.
SO now begins the work on the next fifty years, or, as long as we are allowed!!! Yes kids we are going to be around for some time yet.
And on that note, we thank you all once again for helping to make our SPECIAL DAY; SPECIAL.

I guess Princess just wanted to leave her mark on me just like all of the other cats in my life. Ha. :-)
