Grant St. update

Well there is not much to report from this part of Orlando. Mom (Midge) has settled in. The weather warmed backed up to the usual for this time of year. Now they say another cold spell is moving this way.

We just watched the space shuttle night launch from out in front of the house. Mom was excited but couldn't manage to focus on the shuttle with the binoculars. She bought a scratch off lottery ticket and won $100.00. She also loves to iron and has been processing through our closets steadily for the past couple of weeks. I'm loving it!

Chris is well and; well, he's - Chris. Always cheerful, upbeat and optimistic...like perky Patty on uppers.

We are going over to B and Mel's for lunch tomorrow (Saturday). I understand the menu consists of pulled pork sandwiches and fries. Always a good choice!

We hope everyone is doing well and that the current economy woes do not put to much strain on purses. My retirement is feeling the pinch - or actually 'punch'.

Love to all. R&C
