Time to catch up with some things around the house, inclusive of this BLOG!
We haven't heard from anyone so we have no idea what is going on out there. The cousins from down under have went silent. (Hellooo down there...) The brother across the pond must have fell in, he (they) never call and DON'T UPDATE THEIR BLOG either. Shame! Paul and Cheri are still hard at it. They seem to have settled in quite well with the hill folk. We tend to stay up-to-date with them through their postings. Janet and her gang are running about as usual like a swarm of harassed ants. Hither and dither to one sport activity or the other. Ma and Pa Glover are doing well.
Rick's family (up north in Indiana) are dealing with the recent floods. One of his aunt's was directly affected and has apparently lost her home. A show of force by family members, rallying together, allowed her to save many personal items and furniture. Fortunately she is not destitute and his now living with her daughter in Ohio.
We have made leaps and bounds with our landscaping project. Here's a couple of pics of the almost completed project. We still have the trim to completely finish. Mel has been helping with that (most appreciatively). He has no problem with the high ladders.
Our neighbor (brown house) will soon be painting his entire house. He says that it will be a dark brown with a cream colored trim. (We'll have to wait and see to render a verdict on that.)

Wow! Looks absolutely beautiful! It's so nice to see the palm trees and tropical landscape ... which of course, we don't see much up here! I do have a palm tree inside, if that counts! Thanks for sharing ... it's beautiful! Good thoughts and prayers out to your family, Rick. xoxo P&C
