Starting the New Year.

We are almost at the end of the first month of the new year, and it has flown by.
Rick's mum stayed for another month, so her new date for leaving is Feb.9th. Rick has been really sick, he is now getting over it, but it was miserable for him, head ears chest, the whole nine yards, Midge got a cold, Mel was not too good over the New Year, so we did not get to our party at the clubhouse, so now everyone is either over it or on the mend!!
Mel and I had some new friends( Liz and Danny ) stay with us for two days a week ago, from England, Janet and I met them on a five day cruise last January, then Mel and I went out to dinner with them before they went back, we kept in touch via the internet, and they wanted us to go on the cruise this time with them, but it was not possible, so two days after they arrived and stayed with us, we took them to Fort Everglades to go on their cruise, they arrived back yesterday, we will be meeting up with them before they go home. It is amazing how well we all got on, after all had only known each other for a few hours. They would like us to go visit with them sometime, they live in York.
Yesterday we had some more visitors we have not seen for some time, the Hudson's(Glenn and Sue) from Monica Circle, that was nice to reminiss about those years, and laugh about them as well, their two children ( Shari & Mark ) are married and have children, Shari is now thirty nine, and if you read this Craig, she said you are twenty one years late for that date you promised her!!!, she has a boy and girl, the girl is into gymnast's, and was at Disney yesterday. Mark has been married three times, and they think he is finally settled, he has two children and two step-children. So we do have happenings here in God's waiting room!!!
As I think you all know, Janet and I keep in touch with Tracy(back home), she is not doing good, she is really sick, she has just been in hospital again, but they sent her home, as most of the hospitals have had to close down wards, due to an infection that is contagious, and Tracy is a high risk for infections, Janet talked with her last night, and she is not sleeping too much, so she cannot kep up with what is being said to her.
Well I think I had better sign off now, or you will all have to take a snack break!!!
